Paws forward For International Aid!

My name is Eira, I am a 4 year old English Springer spaniel and I love nothing more than to go on adventures.

On the 28th October I will be having the most fantastic of adventures with my Mum and some of my Aunties, who are veterinary nurses from Grove Veterinary Hospital in Norfolk and also some of my fellow canine friends. We are aiming to walk from Hunstanton to Wells–next–the-sea.

Mum says that’s about 23 miles, I say that’s easy bring it on, I’m a Springer after all and I always run double that which mum walks. Best of all that’s 23 miles of coastal path and that means the beach.

But it’s not all fun and games, we are doing it for a very good cause. We are having this fantastic adventure in order to raise money for IAPWA which stands for The International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals.

IAPWA is a charity that helps stray dogs in countries such as Borneo, Romania, Malaysia, Nepal and Gran Canaria. They provide veterinary care for dogs that aren’t as lucky as me, they are also trying to help end The Dog Meat Trade. As well as helping thousands of dogs, IAPWA also helps rhinos and elephants and even lions. If an animal needs help IAPWA will help it.

I think that is a very good cause and I can’t wait to help my mum and my Aunties raise money for all the dogs and animals that need help.

Thanks and Woofs Eira
